UNJSPF launches UNJSPF Connect and new Contact Us web page

2 November 2024

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) Pension Administration is pleased to announce the launch of its new Customer Relationship Management system, UNJSPF Connect. This is the foundational release of the new system, with further enhancements and integrations planned between now and the end of 2025, which will make this new system more and more efficient.

Rosemarie McClean, Chief Executive of Pension Administration, commented: “This is another milestone in the Fund’s modernization efforts, aimed at further improving client experience and enhancing client satisfaction, in line with the CARE Strategy”.

“I am very pleased with the outstanding commitment and dedication of all my colleagues in Pension Administration for the timely release of UNJSPF Connect. I invite our clients to embrace our efforts and share their feedback to constantly improve”, she added.

When will the system be launched?

UNJSPF Connect will be released on Monday, 4 November 2024 from 9 am (NY time). Please note that from Saturday 1 November at 00:00 (NY time) until the planned release on 4 November, the new contact form on the Contact Us web page will be unavailable to clients to allow for the system’s switch.

What changes for now

The most notable change introduced by UNJSPF Connect in this first release of the new system is the slightly changed Contact Us web page. This page now features a streamlined, two-step query topic selection process. Where users of the form previously had to select a topic from a long list of menu items, they will now first select a category and then the more specific service for which they require assistance. This improvement is designed to facilitate topic selection and query submission, while ensuring that queries are directed to the appropriate service and responded to more efficiently.

Consistent look and feel

Despite these changes, clients will find that the look and feel of the Contact Us web page remains very similar to what they have been accustomed. Like before, once a client has entered their query topic, the page will offer links to the relevant topic pages on the UNJSPF website, for ease of access and self-service. The Contact Us page is available in both English and French, maintaining the Fund’s commitment to accessibility and user-friendliness. Additionally, a redirect to the previous URL for the page will ensure a seamless transition for users.

Looking ahead

As part of our broader modernization initiative, the Fund is committed to continuously improving its services and making access to the Fund easier for all clients. New phases of UNJSPF Connect are planned in the coming months to ensure further integration with internal systems and stakeholders, as well as a modernized Member Self-Service with Multi Factor Authentication access.
