United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board Audit Committee seeks applications to fill a vacant external expert member position.

The Committee provides the Pension Board with assistance in fulfilling its oversight responsibility relating to internal and external audit functions, financial management, risk management, and internal control framework.

The Audit Committee members are expected to be knowledgeable in accounting, auditing, financial management or compliance, and have long-established exposure and demonstrated expertise in these fields. Members of the Audit Committee serve in their private capacity and must be independent of the management of the Fund. Members serve for a non-renewable term of 4 years.

The Committee meets 3 times a year in New York. Service on the Committee is without remuneration except for travel and daily allowance in relation to Committee meetings.
