The UNJSPF Digital Certificate of Entitlement (DCE) has been nominated for the WSIS “World Summit on the Information Society Prizes 2024” in the category Action Line C7 ICT applications: benefits in all aspects of life - E-government.
The WSIS is a United Nations summit that aims to build an inclusive, people-centric, and development-oriented Information Society where everyone can create and share information.
The WSIS Prizes is a unique global platform to identify and showcase success stories in the implementation of the WSIS Action Lines and SDGs. Among 1049 applications submitted, 360 digital projects were nominated (20 in each of 18 WSIS Action Lines).
“This is yet another recognition of the Fund's modernization efforts, in line with the CARE Strategy”, commented Rosemarie McClean, Chief Executive of Pension Administration. “I would like to invite you to submit your vote for the UNJSPF digital solution, which helps streamline the process for our retirees to provide their proof of life on an annual basis”, she added.

The voting phase is closing on 4 April. The WSIS Prizes 2024 Ceremony will be announcing the winners during the WSIS+20 Forum High-Level Event, taking place in Geneva on 27-31 May.
